Champions League draw!

So we got the draws for the Champions League. There are some awesome matches coming up, like PSG vs Barcelona. They did play each other in the group stage where PSG won the first game 3-2 but lost the second one 3-1. It will be interesting to watch who will win this time. The second awesome draw is Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid, the last year’s finalists.
Real won the last year’s final 4-1 (a.e.t), but Atletico won the Copa del Rey match between them 4-2. The lucky ones were Bayern München, who will play Porto and Juventus, who will play with Monaco, but that doesn't mean Bayern and Juventus will definitely win, though they are definitely most likely to win their games.

Awesome games ahead!

Aiming at the Stars, literally!

17. March 2015 is the date that had this year’s CL´s most exciting and dramatic end. Match between Atlético Madrid VS Bayern Leverkusen took place in Madrid. First leg winners Leverkusen had good opportunities to get through to the next round and beat the last year’s finalist. But this time, Atlético had their midfield ball wizard, Koke, back from injury and ready to hit the road. Atlético had only one thing in their mind, they had to score at least 1 goal and keep their goal empty. The first and the only goal in the normal time was taken by Atléticos Midfielder Mario Suárez. Atlético had 11 corners against Leverkursen´s 2, offsides 4:1 to Atlético. Last year’s finalist wanted to prove that they deserved the last years place and wish to keep up the good work. Time went by, and the aggregate score was even. On extra time nothing special happened and the most exciting stage of the game had begun- the penalty shoot-out. All players were nervous and 5 shots out of 10 in total were saved or shot off target. Atlético won the penalty shoot-out 3:2 and moved on to the next round.
I thought the goal was bigger.

Joe Hart´s night, Still City lost :´(

First of all, Manchester City had never lost a first leg home game 2-1 in CL games, before they met FC Barcelona in Manchester. Barcelona´s attacking forces MSN (Messi, Suarez and Neymar) did their job well at the first leg. 2 goals for Suarez. Second leg took place in Camp Nou- and Manchester City had even an tougher mission to accomplish. They had to win Barcelona in their home. As expected, Barcelona continued their good work that they did in Manchester. All three, Messi, Neymar and Suarez had plenty of opportunities to score, but  ManCity´s goalkeeper, Joe Hart, did a spectacular job to keep the goal empty but after Messi´s fabulous assist to Rakitić on the 31´ minute. After the goal, Nasri got so angry at Neymar that he forgot what sport he is playing. He tackled Neymar from the back, but the referee had mercy on him and Nasri got away with a yellow car. And what is more interesting, 4 men of the ManCity starting XI got yellow cards on the first half. The games atmosphere was very nervous. On the second half, ManCity players were reminded what sport they are playing and had some good chances to score. Agüero had a perfect opportunity to score from the penalty spot but he took the worst penalty in his career. Some say that Agüero could hit anything but the goal. Well, yesterday they were right.  ManCity had 14 shots in total and only 4 of them went on target. Barcelona won the game with the aggregate score 3-1. ManCity´s bad fortune continues and they are off from CL competition. Better luck next year.
Come at me BRO!

Bye Dortmund!

I started to watch the game on the 4´and it was already 0-1 to Juventus, Tevez scored an amazing goal. Not much can be said about the game. Dortmund tried to find a way to the box, but they failed completely. They only got 2 half assed shots on target. Dortmund didn’t have a plan at all; they made bad passes, lost the ball too easily. On the 70´ Morata made it 0-2 and 9 minutes later, again Tevez 0-3. All in all, Juventus deserved the win, because everything worked for them perfectly, Dortmund on the other hand played one of their worst games in a while. I wonder how many payers will leave Dortmund in the summer.

Batman and Robin did not show up!

the curse of Arsenal! 17.03.2015

Arsenal had his back on the wall, because they lost to Monaco at home 1:3, so they needed something extraordinary to get to the next round. The first surprise was that Giroud started the game, because in the first leg, he wasted so many chances. Monaco’s tactic was to waste as much time as possible and that from the start; after every touch, they hugged the ground as long as possible. Monaco’s only chance in the game came on the 8´, when they got a freekick from a very good spot, BUT they wasted it completely. Giroud’s first contribution to the game was… yeah you guessed it, he missed. BUT a miracle happened, and he did score on the 36´. Alexis Sánchez got a yellow card for best male actor for his dive on the 42´. The second half began actually pretty well for Monaco, they had control of the ball, but they didn't get a shot, and soon they gave up the control and on the 79´ Ramsey made it 0:2. But it wasn't enough for Arsenal. Monaco went on with away goals 3-3, exactly like 2013 when they lost to Bayern the same way. To be fair Arsenal gave it all, and Monaco didn't get even one shot on target, but they were the luckier team.

Defense of 110M €. Chelsea vs PSG. 11.03.2015

The game between two big rivals took place in London - Stamford Bridge. Round of 16, Second leg.The match started with a predictable sneaky peeky style. After the first 30 minutes there were exactly 0 shots either, off or on target. It all changed after 31´ when Ibrakadabra got a red card seemingly out of nothing. Laurent Blanc didn’t seem to be too nervous about the red card because of PSG´s defense. The aggregate value of their 4 Brazilian defense players is 110M € ( it's more than  then Schalke starting XI against Real Madrid on 10.03.2015 @ Estadio Santiago Bernabéu). The score was even until 81´, when Cahill took Chealsea to the lead. 5 minutes later, David Luiz forces extra time with a late header against his former club. On the first half of the extra time, Hazard scored from the penalty spot @ 96´. PSG CBs had some tricks in reserve and the captain of PSG, Thiago Silva, scored a breathtaking header and its PSG win with away goals (Agg 3-3). PSG was the better team, even without Ibra. Chealsea didn't deserve to play in the next round. Too-Lee-Looo Chealsea, get back to London and stick to your underground Dnb. Leave football to other clubs, who can and know how to play it ;)

Peace, out.
The winning strategie!

The destruction of Ukraine continues: Bayern München vs Shakhtar Donetsk 11.03.2015

Shakhtar managed a draw in the first leg, so they had high hopes in the second one. Those hopes got crushed in the third minute when Kucher received a red card; which was a little harsh, bot oh well. Müller scored form the penalty spot, making it 1:0 for Bayern. Bayern dominates the game from the start to the finisch, Shakhtar barely gets the ball, and when they do, they loose et almost instantly. On the 34th minute Boateng makes it 2:0. The most interesting thing Shakhtar did in the game, was to hit Ribery from the back, and for some reason Douglas Costa dindt get a red card for that. Ribery had his payback on the 49th minute, making it 3:0 for Bayern. Two minutes later and another goal from Bayern; Müller made it 4:0. Badstuber made it 5:0 on the 62nd minute. Lewandowski, who always looks so sad, because he hasn’t scored as much as he would have wanted, scored at last on the 75th minute, and on the 87th minute Götze made it 7:0. In the end you could say, that everybody has something against the Ukrainians.

                                                                  When it all began!

Schalke beat Real Madrid. WTF 10.03.2015

Schalke gave Madrid a real scare beating the reigning champions 3:4
Although Madrid’s defense is worth a lot more than Schalkes Players combined, they did a terrible job protecting their goal. Fuchs scored for Schalke in the 20th minute. After the goal Madrid’s players sucked hard, they didn’t know what to too; Ronaldo gave some terrible passes, which didn’t make their situation better. This lasted for 5 minutes, when Ronaldo scored a header equalizing the game. Schalkes Sane, a 19 year old player, who played his first game in the Champions league didn’t get the hang of it in the first half; he lost a lot of balls, made bad passes and didn’t look good at all. On the 39th minute Huntelaar hits the crossbar, but sets it strait a minute later scoring the second for Schalke. And again Madrid’s defense was really really bad. But again 5 minutes later Ronaldo scores, again a header. But to be fair his footwork sucked all game, at least he has something in his head.
In the second half Pepe forgot which game he’s playing, he does some hockey tackling’s, it seems that the referee was impressed, because he didn’t get a foul for it.
Madrid still plays like 7 year old boys; bad passes, falling down after almost no contact at all.
But Benzema made something no one thought would happen; he scored and made it 3:2 taking the lead for the first time in this game. It all seemed like Real is going to take it home, BUT again 5 minutes later the youngling Sane scored an incredible goal. And if that wasn’t enough, Huntelaar scored his second on the 84th minute. After Schalke took the lead, they dominated the game; they had a lot of extremely good chances, to make it to the next round, but Madrid wasted as much time as possible, after every little touch they stayed down as long as possible. In the end Real Madrid won on aggregate 5:4 barely making it to the next round.

What is this SHIT???
